Public school systems have resisted the idea of teaching comprehensive sex education classes.  This is in the face of teen pregnancy, increasing rates of sexually transmitted disease, increasing rates of sexual violence and misogynistic views being prevalent throughout all platforms of media.   Is it time for our society to address sex as a topic that needs to be openly discussed in our schools?
